I stared my career as a call firefighter in 1974. I moved up throught the ranks of Driver, Captain and Deputy Chief. I was appointed Chief in 2003. My job entails managing the budget, making policy and incident command. I have a degree in Fire Engineering and am a Graduate of the Massachusetts Fire Academy Chief Fire Officer Program. I've been an EMT for 30 years. Off duty I enjoy skiing, golfing, watching hockey, airplane modeling and reading.
