Membership Drive

We’re extremely proud of Easthampton’s American Legion Post 224 Baseball Program, which over the course of many decades has become one of the premiere programs not only in our region, but in the state. The young men who have had the opportunity to play for Post 224 have not only participated in and excelled at one of the highest levels of their sport, but they’ve also learned lessons about teamwork, respect, good citizenship and love of their country that they’ve been able to carry with them into their adult lives.

History of our baseball fields.

However, in the past eight years field availability has become almost non-existent for our Team. There are currently eight teams vying for the use of one field, which significantly reduces our options when it comes to scheduling practices and games. Obviously, it’s vital for us to come up with some solution so that we do not jeopardize our tremendously successful program.

As we prepare for our 2006 season, we at POST 224 BASEBALL have decided to build a field for our team to use. We are also hoping this field will help other organizations in our community.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! It is very costly to build and maintain a new ball field. It is estimated that it would cost $30,000 to start the project.

Donations are also accepted. (Please see registration form enclosed). All proceeds will be used toward our drive to build a new baseball field.
